pointview.media is run by NOVASTYLE INC, based in Chicago, IL. This policy covers the personal data we handle through this site and when you write to us. Cookies and analytics are covered in more detail in the cookie policy.
What we collect.
What you send us. When you send a brief through the form on /start, we get your name, email address, company or website, the services, stage, budget and timeline you pick, and your message. When you email or call us, we get what you share: usually your name, email address or phone number, and what you tell us about your project.
Analytics and advertising data, only if you allow it in the cookie popup: which pages you visit, how you found the site, your device and browser type, your approximate location, how long you stay, how far you scroll, which outside links you click, whether you used our email, phone or copy-email buttons, and whether you sent a brief and which services you picked, never your name, email, company or message.
Technical data. Our own server delivers the pages, which means it processes your IP address and browser details. It keeps no access logs; the brief form’s rate limit holds your IP address in memory for about a minute. On the brief form, Cloudflare Turnstile also reads signals from your browser and device to tell people from bots.
Why we use it.
To reply to you, scope and quote a project, and do the work if you hire us. To learn which pages are useful and whether our ads work, only with your consent. To keep the site running and secure, and the brief form free of spam.
If you’re in the EU or UK, our legal bases are: taking steps you ask for before a contract, and performing it; our legitimate interest in answering inquiries and securing the site; and your consent for analytics and advertising, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who receives it.
Google, for analytics and advertising, only if you allow it. Cloudflare, which runs our DNS and the Turnstile spam check on the brief form; Cloudflare also uses those signals to improve its bot detection, as its privacy policy and Turnstile privacy addendum explain. Our hosting provider, whose servers run our site, form and email, and our phone provider, who process data on our behalf. Our backup storage provider, which holds only encrypted copies. Professional advisers or authorities, when the law requires it.
We don’t sell your personal data. If you allow both Analytics and Marketing, Google uses data from your visit for ad measurement and ad audiences, and may show our ads on other sites based on your visit here, using its cookies. Some US state laws treat this as “sharing” for targeted advertising. You can also control it in Google’s Ads Settings or through the NAI opt-out, and turn it off here at any time in .
How long we keep it.
Correspondence with clients: while we work together and for 3 years after. Other inquiries, including the email a brief creates: deleted within 24 months of our last contact. The brief itself: a copy in our database, deleted 90 days after you send it; server backups that contain it are kept for up to 30 more days. Analytics data: 14 months at visit level, as described in the cookie policy.
Where it’s processed.
We’re based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the US and other countries. Google LLC and Cloudflare, Inc. are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension.
Your rights.
You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected, deleted or its use limited, get a copy, object to how we use it, and withdraw consent. If you live in a US state with a privacy law, such as California, you can also opt out of “sharing” for targeted advertising by turning Marketing off in Cookie settings. In the EU or UK, you can complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
To make a request, write to service@pointview.media. We reply within 30 days and may need to confirm it’s you. Using these rights won’t change how we treat you.
Children.
This site isn’t aimed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Security.
Only the people who need your data can access it, and we use providers with standard security measures. No system is perfectly secure, so write to us if you notice a problem.
Changes.
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions go to service@pointview.media.
